Arizona Film Expo At TENWEST

Meet with representatives from production and distribution companies, state and local officials, convention and visitors bureaus, tourism and more

Tucson, Ariz. – Tired of seeing film production fly over or drive past our state? The Arizona Film Expo (AFE) has been created to put Arizona back on the filmmaking map. This inaugural event, hosted as part of TENWEST Festival, will provide a venue for all Arizona film industry professionals to come together for networking, education and business deals, as well as interaction with state and local officials, supporting industries and students; a place to bring all the potential stakeholders in the film industry together in one place.

The event is set to take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701. Tickets are $35 and are available at Discounts are available for members of the military, students, employees of nonprofit organizations; members of SAG-AFTRA and IATSE may contact AFE for their discount code.

Workshops and panel discussions will take place throughout the day in the Coconino, Cochise and Mojave Rooms, and will include agents, publicists, casting agents, producers, directors, actors and more.

We are also pleased to host the Inaugural Arizona Film & Media Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony from 6-8 p.m. in the Copper Ballroom. Our keynote speaker will be Arizona Film Commissioner Matthew Earl Jones, followed by the awards presentations. This year’s inductees will be: Romaine Fielding Sr. (posthumous), Lubin Manufacturing Company, Tom Mix (posthumous), Robert Shelton (posthumous), Old Tucson Studios, Red & Margie Wolverton, Gary Clarke, Barbara Eden and Steven Spielberg.
