As our climate changes, technology will play an even more critical role in the adaptation process for the food system. Learn from this panel about some of the cutting edge technologies emerging in the agricultural sector to address issues ranging from pollinator collapse to water scarcity.

I have over 10 years experience with various aspects of expanding localized food production through innovation, replication and improvement. I believe that facility design and nutrient water flow engineering along with urban farming placement are critical in the elimination of food deserts and in increasing localized food production. Year-round production and optimized internal environmental conditions are very important inputs for consistent quality, quantity and affordable, nutritious food that will provide economic opportunities for forward thinking communities.
