University of Arizona President, Robert C. Robbins and Center for Creative Photography Director, Anne Breckenridge Barrett invite you to join them at this major evening event to celebrate Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Hume Kennerly’s ground-breaking new relationship with the UA. This event brings together two Pulitzer Prize winners; Kennerly and his good friend and former colleague at Newsweek, historian Jon Meacham. Together they will probe the dynamic effect that only photography can have on the way we feel and understand our world. David Hume Kennerly, former White House photographer and University of Arizona Presidential Scholar, has documented history for more than fifty years, creating iconic images of wars, politics, sports, celebrities and everyday life. Don’t miss the exhibition of Kennerly photography that will be displayed throughout the UA Mall and Old Main.
