Matt Rolland, Director of Programs for SAACA and fiddler for Run Boy Run, hosts a conversation on artistic collaboration with three artists from distinct traditions that blur the lines of creative boundaries. Kevin Larkin, a recent transplant to Tucson from Colorado, has produced musical collaborations with contemporary dance companies, Wonderbound, the Colorado Symphony, and served as director of Music for Zabiti: Immersive Cirque Adventure. Lisa Sturz, also a recent arrival to Tucson, is a master puppeteer with years of experience collaborating with schools, symphonies, and theme parks. Ignacio Garcia is a renowned muralist that works with shopping centers, city planners, restaurants and other private developers to turn walls into canvases of art. These artists discuss how they approach collaborations and key strategies to success for creative endeavors with multiple parties involved.

Lisa Sturz has 40 years’ experience working in film, television, theatre, and educational settings. She has worked with Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Imagineering, Jim Henson Productions, NBC, PBS, the Ice Capades, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Silver Dollar City, Asheville Symphony, and many more.
