Tech Launch Arizona presents an unconference-style discussion for those interested in Southern Arizona’s startup ecosystem to share insights, explore challenges, and identify new opportunities for regional collaboration and meaningful impact. The discussion keynote presenter and facilitator is Marc Sedam, Associate Vice Provost for Innovation and New Ventures and Managing Director, University of New Hampshire UNH Innovation. Marc also serves as the incoming Chair for AUTM.
Marc Sedam, Associate Vice Provost for Innovation and New Ventures and Managing Director of UNHInnovation, joined UNH in November 2010. Sedam has an extensive background in intellectual asset management, licensing, and start-up formation. In addition to his position with UNH, he was the founding director of the Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center and serves as the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Innovation Research Center, New Hampshire’s only translational research funding program. Marc is currently the PI of UNH’s National Science Foundation I-Corps Site and is a sitting member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) Board of Directors.
Sedam is very active in New Hampshire building the innovation ecosystem. UNH was awarded the “Campus Culture and Policy Award” from VentureWell in recognition for rapid scaling and success of the university’s entrepreneurial efforts.
