Digital technologies demand that people acquire new skills. And people are demanding new ways of working. How will these trends affect the mining industry?

Sandra Kenny is Executive Director of Eller Graduate School of Business Consulting at the University of Arizona. In this role Sandra is responsible for recruiting corporations to engage in semester long consulting projects with Eller’s MBA and MIS graduate student teams. Additionally, she develops and teaches an ongoing core curriculum course and an advanced consulting projects elective, which include working closely with clients to negotiate project scopes, facilitating team project development and critique of interactive client presentations in pursuit of final deliverables -having positive client impact as many of these go “live” within the corporations and become the impetus for repeat business.

In previous roles Sandra has over 20 years of corporate consulting experience with Hitachi Data Systems as V.P of Sales, Comdisco Inc., V.P of Midwest Consulting, and the Director of World Wide Marketing for ATT/NCR Corporation where she developed and managed multiple start-ups within these established entities to include development of new technology processes, marketing channels, building national and international sales teams, setting sales and marketing vision, determining pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and product management/marketing initiatives.

Sandra is actively involved in the academic community in Tucson, AZ, has taught as an adjunct instructor at the university and community college levels and has an undergraduate business/marketing degree from De Paul University and an MBA Degree from Loyola University.
