Coconino, Tucson Convention Center

We do theatre for many reasons: to entertain, to inform… and sometimes we do theatre to make a difference. In this workshop, educators will have the chance to look behind the curtains and peer into the guiding principles of Literacy Connects’ Stories that Soar!, a devised theatre program that inspires school communities, and helps thousands of students each year find their voice through literacy and the arts. Throughout the workshop, attendees will reflect on the importance of defining their own guiding principles as educators with a leaning towards social impact.
