IDEAFUNDING UPDATE!! We’re thrilled to share the latest achievements of last year's IdeaFunding winners! Berry Cultured, our Main Stage and Adelante Arizona winner, has introduced new products and continues to inspire children with their imaginative, cultural toys. Ray Ray's Sonoran Spirit Tea, which took home both the Main Stage and Tucson Artisan Food Prize, has expanded into numerous locations across Tucson and Phoenix, bringing her unique spiked tea to a wider audience.
The Earnest House, our People's Choice winner, remains dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals transitioning to self-sufficiency, and has seen significant growth in its outreach. Xoco, the Social Impact prize winner, has launched their first Spanish Immersion workshop, fostering bilingualism and cultural appreciation among families in Tucson.
These incredible businesses highlight the lasting impact of IdeaFunding and the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit in our community. Stay tuned for more details on the 2025 application process and timeline to come soon!
Flashback to our 2023 Creative Day! We were captivated by an array of workshops and keynotes that left us brimming with creativity. Our day began with sessions on mastering audio excellence, community building, digital success strategies, and even using science fiction to envision future solar possibilities. Highlights included insightful talks on creating immersive spaces, storytelling, and the intricacies of songwriting.
Keynotes spanned topics from nurturing creativity in business to behind-the-scenes looks at international music careers, featuring esteemed speakers like Joe O’Connell from Creative Machines, and Jenny Ball (Jenny and the Mexicats) and Silvana Estrada. In the afternoon, we explored the intersections of art, culture, and business with engaging panels on art selling, novel publishing, brand building, and visual note-taking. The day wrapped up with a happy hour, followed by an electrifying TENWESTx event featuring Silvana Estrada and Jenny & the Mexicats at Hotel Congress.
Creative Day was a celebration of artistic expression and innovation, setting the stage for even more exciting events to come in 2025!
