TENWEST Impact Festival offers a variety of event and ticket types to fit the needs of our attendees and the community. Event types include:

General Passport Events

Any general passport events are included with the basic ticket. This includes all education and professional development sessions.

Add-On Events

Additional purchase required to attend. Events requiring an add-on ticket are listed on the registration page.

Free Community Events

Certain events that occur within TENWEST are free to the community to attend. These are noted on the schedule.

Free Partner Events with Additional Outside Registration

Some free events are hosted in collaboration with partners of the festival and have additional registration required. These are noted in the schedule.

Add-On Partners Events with Additional Outside Purchase and Registration

Certain partners are excited to offer TENWEST passport holders exclusive discounts. These discounts will show once you have purchased your pass. These are the only events NOT included in our All-Inclusive Pass.

Based on the event type, the following ticket options are available for attendees:

General Passport

Basic Ticket type, includes entry to all education and professional development sessions throughout the ten-days.

Add-On Ticket

Certain events require an add-on ticket to attend. You must have purchased a Basic Ticket to purchase these add-ons

General Passport + Luncheons

This package includes the Basic Ticket plus access to all the add-on keynote luncheons during TENWEST

All-Inclusive Passport

This package includes the Basic Ticket, plus all luncheons, plus any additional events and add-on occurring during the Festival

Building Innovative Cities Happy Hour 

  • Join us at the Historic Hotel Congress for live music with P.D. Ronstadt & The Company for an informal post-conference happy hour!
  • On the patio, the Tucson Young Professionals will be hosting a conference debrief discussion about how young professionals can actively engage, advocate, and participate in the broader discussion of Tucson’s Innovation District development

TENWEST Kick-off Concert Featuring Black Renaissance

  • Join us in celebrating on the first day of TENWEST Impact Festival with live music by Black Renaissance at the historic Hotel Congress from 7pm -10pm

In the Room with David Hume Kennerly Featuring Jon Meacham Presented by Bank of America

  • Major evening event at Centennial Hall to celebrate Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Hume Kennerly’s groundbreaking new relationship with the University
  • This event brings together two Pulitzer Prize winners; Kennerly and his good friend and former colleague at Newsweek, historian Jon Meacham.
  • Tickets for this event are FREE, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6:00 pm on October 11, the evening of the event.
  • The event is produced by the Center for Creative Photography, UA Presents, and Arizona Arts

86,400 Seconds of Comedy Telethon

  • 24 hours of comedy featuring local comedians from the Tucson Comedy Alliance

On the BRINK Short Film Screening

  • FREE public screening of film challenge at Screening Room downtown

Introduction to Live DJing

  • In this 90 minute class, you will learn the basics of live mixing using professional club standard equipment. Together we will learn a brief DJ history, a breakdown of the equipment and its multifunctional uses, easy to download software to hone in your DJ skills at home, how to organize/download/catalog your own music and a brief introduction to beat matching and EQing on the mixer and equipment. $10.00 Add-On

Podcasting, What’s it All About?

  • Everything starts with an idea. Do you have an idea for a podcast? In the wide world of audio production, you can make just about anything you can imagine. Bridgitte Thum will show you how to get started. At KXCI, we produce a variety of unique audio programs, in many different styles and ways. This workshop can open your mind to what it takes to create a podcast and savvy strategies for sharing it. $10.00 Add-On

Arizona Insect Festival
